Asset type: art-only composition sample for Sanctification Legendary card BP-002, David, portrait 5:7 full bleed.

Primary request: The Psalmist-King — mature crowned David seated in quiet, luminous majesty, privately absorbed in worship. Beauty, reverence, intimacy, and strong but receptive human dignity. This is a person portrait, not a depiction of a specific battle or procession.

Scene and framing: A restrained stone terrace or deep window ledge, with a spacious glimpse of distant hills and luminous atmosphere to the right. David sits slightly left of center in three-quarter view, enough of his seated body visible to make the relaxed dignified posture clear. His head and simple tasteful gold crown lie comfortably inside the upper-middle image, not close to the top edge. Face, both hands, and compact lyre are fully visible in the central image. His face turns toward a broad warm source of light beyond the upper right edge. His expression is tender, attentive, quietly convicted and affectionate, without swagger or theatrical ecstasy. His lips may be slightly parted as though a psalm has paused. A compact wooden lyre rests naturally against his lap, one hand supporting it and the other resting near the strings. Clear believable shoulder-to-hand anatomy, correct fingers, and instrument scale. David remains the focal subject.

Mantle and composition: Rich crimson and deep blue mantle sweeps in flowing glass shapes around his seated figure. One narrow fold drapes down from the ledge toward the lower-left portion of the image, ending above the bottom edge. Plan this as a possible future foreground overlap over a lower text panel, keeping the central/right lower portion calm and free of essential anatomy. Provisional layout: top 12% will potentially carry a title; bottom 23% may carry a verse. Keep face/crown above the central band, roughly 20–35% down, hands/lyre roughly 45–62% down. Paint these covered areas as intentional complete scenery; no blank rectangles or panel-shaped spaces. No text/backings/frame in this artwork.

Glass construction: Construct the ENTIRE illustration from luminous colored glass panes joined by coherent dark lead-like divisions. Major panes define the image from the outset rather than adding cracks to a realistic painting. Use sweeping curved robe panes, deliberate stone planes, broad distant landscape panes, and expressive stylized facial/hair shapes. Figures must share the same glass language as the environment. Retain fine readable facial expression within a few thoughtful panes, no heavy polygon mesh through every facial feature. Crown and lyre have deliberate glass forms too. Rich bounded hue/value modeling and sparse tinted jewel-like highlights in selected panes, many quiet regions. Tactile brushed/lightly etched worked-glass texture contained within environmental and mantle panes, much gentler on skin/hands. No uniform grain overlay, no pervasive white dots or glitter.

Lighting: Exceptional yet restrained luminous presence; warm amber light coherently touches face, crown edge, fingers and selected mantle folds against deep blue/crimson shadows. Depth and gentle radiance rather than shiny fantasy effects. A cohesive jewel palette with tasteful gold accents.
